  5. I had some issues with the plaquenil, nausea and extremity swelling. My rheumy told me that he has never had anyone have leg and hand swelling on plaquenil but he does not doubt it is from the plaquenil. I'm off the prednisone and must say that I am working on adapting to the plaquenil because I can tell it is helping.

    Has anyone here ever been advised to cut back on Plaquenil dose because of low white blood count and low Neutrophil count? I saw a new Rheumy last week. He ran CBC.     Has anyone experienced plaquenil toxicity with damage to eyes? I have been taking plaquenil for 2 1/2 months, and i have noticed blurring in my vision, alson headaches and very sleepy at times rkroeger2 Auto-immune disease also causes headaches, tiredness, and blurry vision.
